Big sound from a small box

Another Ingenious Audio patent-pending technology for its systems is Infinite Compliance™. The radical design technology creates big cabinet sound from relatively small speaker enclosures. The left and right speakers in Ingenious Audio consoles are each in airtight enclosures that are connected by an acoustic tube. The connecting tube combines the low frequency pressures generated by each speaker, essentially cancelling them out and thus eliminating any acoustic stiffness in the suspension. This eliminates the need for the large enclosure required by most speaker designs. This phenomenon is referred to as Infinite Compliance. The impedance curve of the speakers at their resonant frequency is completely flat.
